Personalized, Hands-On Learning

Every course is designed with individual attention, practical exercises, and real-life scenarios to help participants learn by doing. We believe that learning is most effective when it’s interactive and engaging. Our sessions encourage participation, collaboration, and open discussion, ensuring each learner feels confident applying new skills in real-world situations. Whether it’s mastering CPR techniques or practicing conversation in French, we focus on active, experience-based learning.

Professional and Culturally Respectful Instruction

Our instructors bring certified expertise and a deep respect for Nunavut’s culture, ensuring every learner feels supported and included. We create an environment that values diversity, understanding, and respect for local traditions. Each session is guided by professionals who not only teach but also inspire through patience, clarity, and empathy. At Ikajunga, cultural connection and professional quality go hand in hand.

Confidence-Building Skills for Everyday Life

All our programs focus on empowering learners with practical knowledge and confidence they can use in work, community, and daily life. We go beyond theory—our goal is to help you develop skills you’ll rely on long after the course ends. Whether it’s staying calm in an emergency, communicating clearly in French, or acing an interview, every service strengthens real-world ability. At Ikajunga, learning means feeling capable, prepared, and proud of your growth.

Zumbini® is a joyful early-childhood program designed to bring parents and young children together through movement, music, and play. Created for children ages 0–4, Zumbini encourages bonding between mom, dad, or caregiver and child while supporting early development in a fun, nurturing environment. Each session is thoughtfully structured to help little ones explore rhythm, coordination, and self-expression, all while strengthening the parent-child connection.

During each 1 hour class, families enjoy an energetic mix of music, dance, and interactive activities that keep children engaged and excited from start to finish. The program uses age-appropriate songs, instruments, and educational tools to support motor skills, language development, and social interaction. Caregivers participate alongside their children, making every class a shared experience filled with laughter, movement, and meaningful moments.

Zumbini® is more than just a class—it’s a chance to move, groove, and grow together. Whether your child is crawling, walking, or dancing freely, Zumbini offers a welcoming space where families can build confidence, create lasting memories, and enjoy learning through joyful movement.

Once you book a service, our team will reach out to confirm your registration and outline the next steps. We’ll share the schedule, location or online access details, and any preparation guidelines prior to your session. If course materials are required, we’ll provide them or let you know what to bring. Our goal is to keep everything simple and stress-free so you feel ready and confident. If you have questions or special requirements, just let us know—we’re happy to help.
